I used Adobe XD to design the layout and Webflow to make a high fidelity prototype.

On April 11, 2018, my employer announced that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles had agreed to publish his memoir. Tasked with designing banner ads and marketing emails, I was also assigned the responsibility of creating the landing page. The only assets provided were two potential book covers (still awaiting final approval) and a headshot of Nick Foles.
Thumbnails of the two potential book covers and Nick Foles' headshot.

To choose the color palette, I uploaded both covers to Adobe Color. The results were nearly identical, but I found the top colors from the first cover to be the most vibrant. So, I selected those as the final palette.
The top cover was officially approved as the final design for the book's front cover.

With the official book cover finalized, I wanted to incorporate some of its graphical elements into my projects.
I didn’t have access to the layered files of the front cover, but the image asset I received was high-resolution. The title "Believe It" alone measured 1725 x 335 pixels, giving me enough flexibility to extract it, convert it into a smart object, and seamlessly integrate it into my banners and landing pages.
The image of Nick Foles pointing up immediately caught my eye, so I used the magnetic lasso tool to extract him from the background.
I’m a football fan, and I’ve always admired the futuristic, metal-textured graphics the NFL uses. Inspired by that style, I spent time enhancing Nick’s headshot with similar dynamic visuals to match the look and feel of an NFL game.
The study bible marketers handed me three word documents containing light copy, a PDF sample excerpt and 3D graphics for the available editions. With the content in my hand, I began wireframing the landing page for desktop, tablet and mobile use.
